Lenina is a beautiful woman who has sex with many guys including Bernard but he likes more then she likes him and so he takes sex more seriously then Lenina. In the book all the women can have as much sex as they want and they don’t have any consequences because they take many birth control and so they take sex as a game. a symbol in the book of how powerful the technology has become to drug people into living in a utopia place. The drug that everyone takes is called a soma and it is used to keep everyone happy, in a good mood, and it keeps everyone from rebelling or going against the controller or the director. Brenard falls in love with Lenina Crowne who is a beta plus and and he is the only one who has real feelings because all the others can’t feel anything they are always happy and in a good mood because of the drug they take. Then gammas,deltas, and epilsons are lower than them and they mostly work for th other two groups. Everybody in the book is divided into four groups alphas and betas are the two smartest groups. ![]() In the book Brenard is the Alpha plus and he is very smart but when he was being created something went wrong so he is different from other alphas, betas, gammas, epilsons, and deltas. In the book Brave New World by Aldous Huxley he introduces many themes, but a theme I thought was very important was that Many characters such as Leninakan Crowne, Bernard Marx, the director, Mustapha Mond, Helmholtz Watson, Henry Foster, Fanny Crowne, John the savage, Linda, the Popé, and the warden are all victims of not being able to realize the truth about the society that they live in.
